I really like this grinder. It holds an ample amount of salt, and easily grinds it to almost powder on the fine setting. It does have a little salt left in the bottom when finished grinding, so remember to tap it near the bottom to release it. Otherwise you'll have salt powder on whatever you set the grinder down on. I keep mine on a small dish which catches it. All in all, it's a wonderful grinder. Maybe a tad high in price, but it feels solid and works well, so I guess it's worth it.

I have had this pepper mill for more than three years. It is used pretty much every day and has held up much better than any I've bought previously. Over the years I have had many types salt shakers and pepper grinders. None of them were that great. So, I finally decided to get a nice matching set. After doing some research, I purchased both the Wm Bounds HM Pro Salt and Pepper mills. I was delighted when I took them out of the box. They looked beautiful, and seemed to operate very well. I felt secure in the knowledge that I now had a set of salt and pepper mills that not only looked great on my kitchen counter, but I also had confidence that they would work for years! I even remarked that I actually had salt and pepper mills that I could hand down to my children. After all, I read the reviews.

I have had them now for a week. The pepper mill is still working well. However, the salt mill is dead. It worked fine at first with the Himalayan salt. However, after a couple of days it just quit. I would turn the top, but nothing would come out (a problem which did show up in one review). So today, I opened it to look at the salt inside. BAM! The bottom with the grinding gear on the center post, along with the spring, shot out forcefully, hit the counter, and most of the salt spilled out. Not a very pleasant surprise. Several attempts to reassemble it resulted in the same problem. It wouldn't grind, and it flew apart when the top was removed.

In the aftermath, an analysis brought to light a design problem with this salt mill, and I believe the pepper mill, which appears to be exactly like it. The center post, which holds the grinding gear, is spring loaded (nothing odd there, really), and is held in the mill by an aluminum square with a hole in the middle, which is press-fit onto the post over the grinding coarseness selection collar. This one press-fit aluminum piece holds all the important pieces, including the spring pressure, in place! If it lets go when opened, which it did in mine, the mill flies apart.

As an aside, because the mill flew apart, I was able to see that the gear for selecting coarseness, under the nice-looking metal collar, was cheap plastic. The grinding gear and its collar are a dark porcelain, and everything else is metal. However, if it doesn't stay together, what does it matter?!

Now, I am not only very disappointed with my beautiful but useless salt mill, I am left wondering how long my pepper mill is going to continue working. Needless to say, I will be returning the salt mill. So, beware. In this case, the old adage, "Beauty is only skin deep." applies!

I bought a cheaper mill that did not make me happy so I splurged on this one. It worked for about a day and then went kaput. The top knob must be tightened in order to grind salt but when tightened the only thing you accomplish when trying to grind is switching the selector from coarse to medium to fine. Very disappointed.

This salt grinder worked just a few times and now will not grind anything -it came filled with salt and 3/4 of that salt is still in the unit so it is apparent it has hardly been used before it ceased to work. I am doubly unhappy because I ordered both the salt and pepper grinders to have a matching set. Now I'm stuck with the pepper mill as it can't even be returned and no salt grinder to match.

I've used an oak pepper mill with salt shaker for more years than I care to admit. As a chef, I prefer freshly ground pepper and tend to enjoy using a five peppercorn blend which is attractively displayed in acrylic. Since I bought the peppermill, I decided to purchase the salt mill as well.

The William Bounds acrylic salt mill, like the peppermill, grinds course bits of salt with the crank of the handle. The grind can be adjusted between fine, medium, and course, and compliments the attractive peppermill. Ceramic grinders are designed to never rust or wear out.

Using a traditional shape with contemporary materials creates a pleasing modern appearance. Refilling, adjusting the grind, and milling salt are all accomplished from the top of the mill and are simple to achieve. The salt mill grinds salt so well, it seems difficult to control the amount of salt produced. This can be a problem when adding salt to a single serving of food at the table, but not as much while cooking a meal in the kitchen. We generally don't use salt and pepper shakers at the table, so the salt mill hasn't been a problem for us.

Visually this salt mill has a modern feel and is made in the US from high quality materials. If being careful with salt intake is important for you, this may not be the best option. Otherwise, the William Bounds salt mill is worthy of consideration.

This is a great product! Received a salt and pepper set as a wedding gift 4 years ago and we have no complaints....they've actually received many compliments! The grinding action is sturdy, the hand feel is proportionally balanced and easy to operate. Easy to cook with and looks great when dressing the table. The only note is that some residual grounds are left behind in a tiny pile whenever they are picked up so we store ours in a flat little dish on the counter top. This 'leave behind' seems to be common with all grinders and is really not a problem at all.

My W Bounds salt cellar bought AGES ago on amazon was proving a challenge to wash and fill so I sent it back to the company in CA and they called saying it couldn't be repaired and they would replace it. I just received the new salt mill and felt I should take a minute to tell Amazon customers about this great customer service. So often we are told things have a warranty or a life time protection and then when something goes wrong ah, the warranty doesn't cover that particular part of the product or the lifetime warranty doesn't cover damage caused by such-and-such an event (not your own doing). I begin to smile when I see 'life time guaranty' as I feel it's worthless. The product is attractive, does the job perfectly and it ever fails to satisfy, the company will make it right There's no reason to shop anywhere else!

These towels are amazing. They are so absorbent that they pick up most wet spots on dishes after swiping only once. I love them so much that I don't even mind putting away the dishes in the dishwasher anymore (which I used to hate!). The colors are great, and the little gray patch is good at getting dirt off of things that won't come off another way, without being abrasive. I also love that you can just throw them in the laundry (and the little gray patch doesn't stick on anything else in the laundry even the delicates).

The mesh is great for scrubbing at dried on dirt on dishes or counter tops, but rinses clean easily. These sponges dry out quickly if you ring them out, so they aren't breeding bacteria and smells between dish washings. After a few days, I toss them in the laundry basket and wash them with my kitchen towels. They're a bit stiff out of the dryer, but are soft and flexible again as soon as you get them wet. I plan to buy more of these and never buy another cellulose sponge again.

Since cleaning is my business I work a lot with microfiber cloths and tried those out the first time today. In my opinion they are pretty overpriced considering they are the size of a handkerchief , they are pretty flimsy and not any better than some others available by the dozen for this price in twice the size. The statement that they soak up seven times their weight in water is ridiculous considering they hardly weigh anything. They pick up dust and get mirrors bright and shiny, but that's what microfiber does, not a wonder.

These cloths are simply amazing; they clean just about everything, easily and quickly. I have yet to find a surface that resists their touch. Mirrors and glass sparkle, counters become spotless and chrome glows.

I even polished some silver containers I use on the bathroom counter to hold cotton balls, Q-tips, and paper cups. I used the cloth with a tiny bit of water and WOW! all the little water splash marks and dark colors were gone and the silver was beautifully shiny again. No more chemical odors and shredding paper towels, just these four cloths meet all cleaning needs.

I have bought sets for my daughters and friends and they are also fans of this wonderful product.

These are the size of washcloths. I thought they would be bigger. One major problem is that they are major static magnets. I don't know why but when I put them is the wash and then the dryer they produce tons of static both on them and the rest of the wash. I still haven't decided what I'm going to use them for. I use one of them as a kitchen towel to dry dishes. Since everything seems to stick to the cloths they are good for dusting. I like using it to dust my computer monitor screen and my TV screens.

Quality is ok at best. The BarMops I had purchased in Costco a year or so ago are much better. The weight and weave quality doesn't seem like they will hold up after a few uses/washes. They are also smaller. But for for less than a $1.00 each (shipping included)one can't really complain.

These are soft and absorbent, work well as dish towels and hand towels. The washing instructions say cold, but I've been washing them in hot water and drying with highest setting, they haven't shrunk and have kept their shape. I ordered two more packages.

Woolite Dry Cleaner's Secret Dry Cleaning Cloths Review

This is a fun product to use. When you open the patch, you get a barely moist paper cloth. Then a doubt creeps in. After all, how can a single moist paper cloth clean the dirt off of my clothes in 20 minutes worth of drying?

After 20 minutes, my clothes were fresh smelling and clean. It was really impressive.

I higly recommend this product for light dry cleaning. But if you must get a heavy duty professional quality dry cleaning, then the professional dry cleaning is still the best. After all, they use industrial grade concentrated chemicals which can't be used in consumer products.

Highly Recommended (works really well):

1)Dark shirts with no heavy stains.

2)Dark pants with no heavy stains.

I got a sample of this first, then tried it out. This is a great product for sweaters, jackets, and other items that usually get sent to the Dry Cleaner. It works great in the dryer. Please be careful when trying to remove spots. If I follow the directions correctly, the spot remover works well.

The cost savings have been HUGE for my wife and I. Try the one sheet for yourself, then I am sure you will come back and buy the bigger package.

I love this product I don't expect it to "clean" my clothes the way the professionals using perch' do, but for a "freshening up" it's great. Pop up to 4 items in the dryer and 20 minutes later, they're wrinkle free on the hanger and smell great until my next trip to the cleaners to really clean them. Excellent for getting de-wrinkling slacks or getting smoke-stench out of a jacket or freshening up a wool sweater. You can't overload the dryer, tho, or your clothes will be wrinkled and the product doesn't work.

I work in a Manhattan office and wear dry clean only clothing almost every day. My bills would be immense without this stuff! It rocks. Seriously. I mean how often do people gush about a laundry product?

This has no bags or expensive starter kits like with Dryel. You get a bunch of sheets saturated with cleaner, like thick damp dryer sheets.

You dab off any small smudges, then toss 4-5 pieces of similar colored clothing in the dryer for half an hour with the cleaning sheet.

Hang your clothes up overnight (or for a few minutes if you're like me and end up doing it in the morning!) and they look smooth and reshaped, and smell fresh.

Works great for anything that isn't actually grimy, just out of shape or wrinkled. Now I take my garments to the real dry cleaner every three or four wearings. My job requires a neat and professional appearance, and this stuff does the trick!

Besides the obvious savings, it's less time spent going to the dry cleaner. I buy clothes without fear of the time and expense of cleaning them. And if I want to wear my favorite skirt on a whim, I can. I don't have to wait until I have time to get it to the cleaner.

Obviously, use your common sense. Badly stained or sweaty garments won't work. And if you have a super expensive power suit, take it to an expensive cleaner.

But if your moderately priced dry clean clothing often ends up wrinkled but basically clean, buy this and save. It's never ruined or even damaged an article of my clothing, and for what I'm saving, I could replace the occasional garment if it ever did.

I purchased this product based on the many positive reviews here, and I was very disappointed.

I followed the directions for the product and used one cloth for one two-piece suit. The suit had no stains, but it did have a light odor under the arms, which this "cleaning" cloth did not remove or even mask. The only thing this cloth did was give the whole suit a very light fragrance. I don't see how this would remove any staining at all.

If you are looking for something to re-fresh your clothing, I would recommend tossing your clothing in the dryer for 15 min with a microfiber (lint-free) damp cloth with a couple of sprays of your favorite perfume. The effect will be the same, and you will save money and save the environment another piece of trash.

I have tried Dryel in the past for home dry-cleaning and I am going to go back to it. Dryel makes a much more effective product that actually CLEANS!

I would not recommend this product!
