The towels are soft, plush, extremely absorbent, very good quality. I can't find comparable quality anywhere! I bought two towels, and then bought two more when I realized how good they were. I would definitely recommend these to family and friends.

These towels aren't for the faint of limb. They're heavy. If you have small kids or elderly people in your home, these might actually be a bit TOO heavy to use. But, our family loves them. They wash perfectly (only one loose loop on 6 towels and this easily trimmed down). The decorative edging and band don't shrink up or pucker after washing, so the towels still lay nice and flat. They're moderately soft (not nearly as soft as bamboo/cotton blend) but not as stiff as the towels available in target and Bed Bath & Beyond. I give the moderate softness a 4/5, but the other aspects are a solid 5/5.

Best part is that they can be bleached, so there's no worry if you dry a knick or cut on your skin, unlike other pale colored towels.

I always have a difficult time buying presents for my mother-in-law. I noticed on my last visit that she needed new towels. She lives alone and didn't need towel sets. Just a couple of really plush bath towels. These are perfect! Really large, very plush. Shipping time was about a week.
