I have put this item through its paces. I cook--a lot. It has been dropped, thrown, baked in the dishwasher, almost baked in the oven (long story), and exposed to the rigors of angry handwashing.
It has come through with flying colors.
As for performance, I can't complain. It makes a nice even line, easily, and the crimped edge is perfect every time.

I usually like Wilton products, I really do. So when I finally decided let's upgrade from a fork to a real pastry blender, I found this one. Big mistake. Only two reasons why, but big enough for me to dislike this item immensely.
Issue one the tines are wire, not blades. Doesn't sound like a big deal, but you want to be cutting through the butter, shortening, etc. Dull wire just squashes the fats.
Issue two tines too close together. OK, if these were blades maybe it would be OK. But having so little clearance between them and being dull, well, using a plain old fork works a lot better than this thing.
My suggestion, purchase any pastry blender with blades and not wires and you will save lots of time and frustration.

It is wonderful... heavyweight (but not too heavy) and the two wheels allow you options for cutting. I have used it for both pasta and pie crusts and have to say it is way better than my old pastry cutter (the flimsy kind with a wooden handle).

I gave this 5 stars even though I have not used it long enough to say whether or not it will hold up over time, but it seems to be of a nice quality. I like the fact that it has both straight and crimped cutting wheels. The grip has a good feel to it and the blades work smoothly and are sharp. It also has a hole through the handle so I can hang it out of the way of my youngest when he is in 'helper' mode.

This is the best pastry blender ever. The handle fits very well and I love the easy clean blades. I found that the price on amazon was BETTER than in any retail store.
