I was so excited when I found this product, because I had a 25-year-old one by the same company and I loved it. However, after two and a half decades, the acryllic bottom had become discolored on the inside from the movement of the peppercorns. The new model is very similar to the old one. Works great. Plus it is very handy to have the salt and pepper in one dispenser.

I have used these for years simply because I can put both the salt and pepper in one place. It is easy to fill and easy to use. And it comes with a supply of peppercorns! I have one near the stove for cooking and one for the table.

I owned one of these for almost 20 years until it's demise. The salt corroded the mechanism on the top chamber, but I notice that the new model is designed to overcome that fault. My family joked with me because I missed it so much.

So much less clutter on the table, looks good AND, a brilliant pepper grinder! When I finally replaced the original one, I couldn't be happier.

William Bounds Pepper Mills are the only one worth their salt. This is our third grinder and the design has been improved. The other two are still in use after 11 and 15-20 years.

The downside was the sellers packaging. The mill was tossed into a box, with no packing material. It arrived with the peppercorns scattered all over the box. Luckily, it was not damaged.
