I would award this product 5 stars if it was less expensive. I tried one bottle which lasted me a good long while. Then I found a bottle of another glass/crystal cleaner at a wine shop and bought it thinking it was the same product with a different label on it. That was a wrong assumption. The second glass/crystal cleaner could have been water for the appearance and effectiveness of it. I've re-ordered two bottles of the Stem Shine this time so I won't have any downtime in getting my glasses clean.
I hand wash all my crystal and favorite glassware in Stem Shine and they all sparkle. Any suds that are created seem to break down to nothing instantly in the rinse water. I wash my glasses first, the Stem Shine ends up in my dishwater and everything I wash afterwards from glass to metal to plastic gets really squeeky clean. I love this product and wish it came in a gallon jug.
Prior to washing the wine glasses I also use one Efferdent tablet per red wine glass dissolved in warm water up at least to the level the wine has reached. This has prevented any red wine stains and has removed existing ones.

Ever since I started using Riedel crystal glasses I've struggled with the water spots, lines and other marring on the glasses after washing. I've tried using hot vinegar, mild abrasives and even ammonia. Despite polishing and immediately drying, my glasses would always present hard water marks. I read about Stem shine and with the very first use most of the spots and hard water deposits were gone, despite several years since the marks first appeared. It seems very mild, and I only used a drop of liquid and let it soak for a while. After washing and rinsing I held the glass up to the light and to my glee it was sparkling clear crystal again. I'm also using the Brushtech Crystal Stemware Washing Brush to clean my wine glasses gently and thoroughly. This combination has yielded my glasses and stem ware to restored, perfect condition. I wish I knew about these items sooner. I highly recommend these products to those like-minded, obsessively tidy individuals who like me, insist upon order and cleanliness in my kitchen.Best Deals for Stem Shine Wine Glass Cleaning Liquid For Hand Washing -16 oz
I've been using the Stem Shine products for about three years now (both the dishwashing and the liquid versions). I love them both. Occasionally the dishwashing version let's me down -I suspect residual dishwashing detergent from the previous loads.Other than the high cost of the detergents, I would recommend them.
Honest reviews on Stem Shine Wine Glass Cleaning Liquid For Hand Washing -16 oz
I kidded myself for a long, long time that I could get my wine glasses as clean with regular dishwashing liquid. But every time we would entertain, I had to touch up the wine glasses before I would put them on the table. I started using Stem Shine this week, and I could tell it was going to do a better job on the glasses the first time I used it. I'm really happy I broke down and got some. For now, I'm sticking with the hand-wash version because I don't trust my glasses in the dishwasher. The only reason I'm not giving it a 5 is cost. You only need a few drops for each glass, but even at that rate, I'm going to run out pretty quickly. So, I'm continuing to look for a less expensive option, but I looked for, well, years before I bought this, so I think I'll just have to suck it up if I want really clean wine glasses, which I do. I put a lot of time and energy into wine collecting (and drinking), so it's kind of self-defeating not to pay the same level of attention to the cleanliness and look of the glasses. How to dry the glasses is another story. When I bought the Stem Shine, I also bought a Riedel cleaning cloth. Seems pretty good, but I'm holding off reviewing it until I have a little more experience with it.
